Coursera Etudier en France - French Intermediate course B1-B2

  • We use nous sommes or on est followed by a day to talk about the day
    • Nous sommes mardi = today is tuesday
    • On est le 4 = today is the 4th
  • Use on est rather than nous sommes to talk about something formal
    • Because “on est” = “les gens sont”
