Random Lockdown Flute Choir (Vivaldi Flute Concerto No.5)

This post originally appeared on the very first blog
Just to test what terrible headphone mics can sound like with editing. Purely out of boredom.
This is another part of the lockdown music series; you will find links to other parts down below:
- Part 1: Random Lockdown Film Score
- Part 2: Random Lockdown Flute Choir (this post)
- Part 3: Another Random Lockdown Film Score
This was the planned workflow for later comparison:
- Some practice, 30%
- Record, 50%
- Brief mixing, 20%
I didn’t expect any good result, and so there wasn’t any good result. Seriously… what kind of mic delays this much?!
And what kind of mic chops off frequencies like that?!?!
So this became the actual workflow:
- Practice, 10%
- Record, 20%
- Editing and editing and editing, 70%
Whatever. Here’s the whatever mixdown of the first movement consisting of 80% editing and 20% playing skill.
There will be no second nor third movement since the lockdown was over. How can you expect a lockdown recording after a lockdown? Well… unless there is a COVID-20 but let’s hope that there isn’t.
